Description
It is a Fire Red Difficulty Hack Designed to be Nuzlocked. However, the game does not feature a forced level cap! If you're simply looking for a challenge but don't want to nuzlocke, you can play that way! Autumn Red was inspired by Romhacks like Renegade Platinum and Emerald Kaizo, with the difficulty of Autumn Red aiming to be somewhere in the middle.
Features
- Rocket Hideout is required before Celadon Gym
- Tea is moved to Fuchsia City
- Sylph Co. is required before Saffron City Gym & Fighting Dojo
- Agatha's Lore can be found from an NPC
- Routes 19, 20, 21, and Cinnabar Island cannot be accessed before Sylph Co.
- Physical/Special Split implemented
- Removed EVs for players & trainers
- Trainer Pokémon have max IVs
- No badge boost
- Enemy trainers cannot use items (including Gym Leaders & Elite Four)
- Rare Candies available in all Poké Marts for 1$
- Portable PC in the player's room (optional)
- Exp. Share in the player's room (optional)
- Berries (Figy, Wiki, Mago, Aguave, and Iapapa) now heal 1/3 instead of 1/8
- Type-boosting items (e.g., Mystic Water) now boost by 20%
- New items introduced: Battle Coat (Steel-type boosting) and Battle Rock (Flinch chance boost)
- Rods are now given in Viridian, Vermilion, and Fuchsia City
- Reworked in-game trades
- Trade evolutions now evolve via leveling
- Evolution Stones: Metal Coat, Up-grade, Dragon Scale, and King's Rock now act as evolution stones
- Espeon and Umbreon evolve with Sun and Moon stones
- Clamperl evolves into Huntail or Gorebyss based on personality
- Baby Pokémon have 210 base happiness
- Zubat has 180 base happiness
- 50+ Evolution level changes
- 80+ Base stat changes
- Reworked learn sets for all 386 Pokémon
- 50+ moves from future generations added
- 50+ move reworks (e.g., Phantom Force now 90 Base Power)
- Status moves now have PP reworks (e.g., Swords Dance and Dragon Dance are 3 PP)
- Hyper Beam, Frenzy Plant, Hydro Cannon, Blast Burn now 150 Base Power with 1 PP
- Hidden Power Mechanic replaced
- Hidden Power, Thunder Wave, Will-o-Wisp, and Toxic are not 100% accurate
- Move Reminder and Deleter available in Pokémon Centers after reaching Celadon
- Indigo Plateau now sells TMs, has all Move Tutors, Move Reminder, and Deleter
- Rare Candies available for 1$
- Poké Dolls cost $20 and are sold in every shop
- Various price decreases for healing items
- Oran and Pecha Berries added to Viridian City Mart for $20
- Great Balls added to Cerulean City Mart
- The Department Store now sells a new set of TMs
- Game Corner only sells Battle items, with greatly increased payouts
- The Indigo Plateau sells nearly every item in the game
- Updated encounter tables for most towns
- The Safari Zone features more rare Pokémon
- Safari Ball has 3x the capture power of an Ultra Ball
- Some routes have water encounters added or removed
- All routes now feature mandatory fights
- Different paths in routes lead to varied battles
- Many routes have optional battles for rewards
- Routes do not scale to player level-backtrack for easier fights
- Some routes feature new designs and layouts
