Description
PROGRESS: I would like to preface this by saying that this hack is currently in an OPEN BETA. This means that while I have done a lot of playtesting, there might (and probably are) still things that slipped through the cracks. Feel free to let me know of any issues you find and I will address them. There are also some minor (mostly text-related) things to address, but they are not that important for players who read the documentation or Bulbapedia.
➡️Includes Pokémon from Generations 1-4 - around 60 new fully-evolved additions
➡️Type, ability, and stat changes for balance and variety
➡️Hidden Abilities given to many Pokémon to replace weaker normal abilities ➡️Earlier access to late-game Pokémon like Pawniard, Rufflet, and Vullaby ➡️Evolution level requirements lowered to make Pokémon usable throughout the game
➡️Buffed and backported moves from later gens (e.g., Power-Up Punch, Mystical Fire, Trailblaze)
➡️Renamed areas and earlier access to previously locked zones (like inner Dreamyard)
➡️More held items available earlier instead of being postgame locked
➡️Wild legendary trios nerfed and made catchable before postgame
➡️Move Relearner acts as a move tutor - all fully evolved Pokémon have egg/tutor moves at level 1
➡️More Heart Scales added for easy move relearning
➡️Reworked experience curves and soft level caps to reduce grinding
➡️High-level Audino for better EXP farming
➡️Balanced boss fights with slightly expanded teams and mild item usage
➡️Bosses retain the spirit of their original teams; no overwhelming 6-mon teams early
➡️Drayden is the first boss with items on every Pokémon
➡️Challenger's Cave reworked into a high-risk dungeon with strong trainers and valuable rewards
➡️Access to moves like Ice Beam, Earthquake, and competitive items before postgame
Modified Version (Pokemon R.O.W.E)
