Game Description

It is a story-driven reimagining of the classic Kanto adventure, built on the advanced HG-Engine for Pokémon HeartGold. This is not just a remake; it's an expanded and more in-depth retelling of the Red and Blue story, with a central focus on Team Rocket and their plot to capture the mysterious "Project M." Play as a young trainer from Pallet Town alongside your friends Red and Green and your cocky rival, Blue, as you journey through a completely redesigned Kanto. The region has been given a massive visual overhaul with Gen 5-style graphics, new areas, new towns, and expanded dungeons. While the initial journey is a faithful Gen 1 experience, the game includes a massive roster of Pokémon from all nine generations (including regional forms and the Fairy Type) that become available as you progress to the post-game in the returning Sevii Islands.
