A love letter to Kanto, and a remake of Pokémon Yellow made in the Emerald engine. Adventure side-by-side with your Partner Pikachu in familiar territory, featuring a focus on the original 151, quality of life enhancements, an expanded story, daily events, post-game content, and bug fixes.
Features
- Partner Pikachu & Following Pokémon : Adventure alongside your Partner Pikachu—which can have 3 different abilities, use Zippy Zap, and is buffed by Light Ball—along with an integrated follower Pokémon system.
- HM Improvements : HMs and certain TMs can be used in the field without teaching the move first if the Pokémon in question can learn it and you hold the associated badge.
- Visible IVs & EVs : Players can check their Pokémon's IVs and EVs immediately after receiving them.
- Increased Shiny Odds : Base shiny odds are increased to 1:2048 (1:256 with the Shiny Charm), gifted starters have higher shiny chances, and shiny Pokémon display a shiny indicator on the UI when encountered.
- DexNav System : Locate wild Pokémon using the DexNav system, featuring search levels, chain bonuses, and in-game explanations.
- Mega Evolutions : Fully integrated Mega Evolutions complete with dedicated challenge trainers for every Mega Stone who reward you upon defeat.
- Tons of Quality of Life (QoL) : Includes mid-battle move descriptions (press R), type-effectiveness text colors in battle, expanded running/biking/escape areas, increased berry yields, instant Silph Co. healing, and wild item drops upon defeat.
- Day/Night Cycle : Ported time-of-day system affecting wild encounters, such as night-only Pokémon appearances on specific routes.
- Expanded Story & Post-Game Content : Features daily legendary respawns, daily Rocket battles, a restored dev room and credits, additional story direction, and post-game events.
- Vanilla+ Difficulty & Smarter AI : Smarter trainer AI, rebalanced EXP gain, gym trainer strategies, and modern battle items (Focus Sash, Heavy-Duty Boots, Assault Vest, Flame Orb, etc.).
- Fairy Type & Mechanics Updates : Powered by BattleEngineV2 featuring Fairy Type, Gen 5+ multi-hit mechanics, move rebalances, and custom Kanto learnsets.
