It is the ultimate Radical Red experience in the Hoenn region. This hardcore difficulty hack was designed with a simple goal: to bring the famously challenging and deeply strategic gameplay of Radical Red to Pokémon Emerald. This is a complete, QoL-focused adventure that ports over all the modern balance changes you love, including updated Pokémon stats, types, abilities, and learnsets to match the competitive standard. Featuring a vastly improved battle engine with a much smarter AI, a configurable "Minimal Grinding Mode," Mega Evolution (including custom ones!), and over 100 brutally difficult, custom-made boss battles, this is the definitive way to experience a Radical Red-style challenge in Hoenn.

Radical Red-Inspired Difficulty & Balance: The game's core design goal is to bring the Radical Red experience to Hoenn. It ports over the vast majority of balance changes, including Pokémon stat, type, ability, and learnset updates. ➡️100+ New & Difficult Boss Battles: The difficulty is massively increased with over 100 custom-designed boss battles, including Gym Leaders, the Elite Four, rivals, evil team admins, and new optional Mini Bosses.

Minimal Grinding Mode (MGM): A configurable mode, identical to Radical Red's, that guarantees all Pokémon have perfect IVs and removes EVs entirely, putting the focus on pure strategy. Even with MGM off, tools for instant EV/IV customization are provided.

Built-in Difficulty Modes & Randomizer: The game includes a choice between a difficult "Normal" mode (no bag in trainer battles, set mode) and an "Easy" mode. It also features a built-in, configurable Randomizer for both Pokémon species and abilities.

Almost All Pokémon from Gens 1-9: The game features a nearly complete National Pokédex with Pokémon from all nine generations available to catch. ➡️Mega Evolution & Custom Megas: The game features a fully implemented Mega Evolution system, plus brand new, custom-made Mega Evolutions for Pokémon like the Sinnoh starters. Several Gigantamax forms have also been converted into new Megas.

Vastly Improved Battle Engine & AI: The game features a modern battle engine with updated mechanics, a smarter AI, a Sleep Clause, and in-battle information like type icons and a move power calculator.

New Characters & Story Tweaks: The story includes new characters, such as Dawn as an additional rival and the Sinnoh Gym Leaders, and features small tweaks to line up more difficult battles.

DexNav & Following Pokémon: The popular DexNav feature from ORAS is included for hunting Pokémon, and you can have your lead Pokémon follow you in the overworld.

No HM Slaves & Reusable TMs: HMs can be used without being taught and are forgettable if you do. All TMs have infinite uses.

PC Anywhere & Infinite Healing: You can access your PC from anywhere in the world and heal your party an infinite number of times with the PokéVial. ➡️Instant Training & Customization Tools: The game is designed to eliminate grinding. It includes a Stat Editor for EVs/IVs, an IV Perfecter NPC, a Hidden Power changer, Nature and Gender changers, and an NPC to instantly set your Pokémon to the current level cap.

Free Item Care Packages: You are given item care packages that include Infinite Candy, all type-boosting hold items, and all type-resisting berries. ➡️Modern UI & Menus: The game features a Gen 5 style party menu and summary screen with a built-in EV/IV viewer. The bag is also expanded and has better sorting.

Post-Game Legendary Events: The post-game includes new events to encounter legendary Pokémon, including access to the original Mystery Gift locations from vanilla Emerald.
