Description
A Fire Red ROM hack that offers a vanilla story experience enhanced with modern quality-of-life features. It focuses heavily on team building and features a higher difficulty level than vanilla games, with trainers and gym leaders utilizing full IVs and EVs.
Features
- Decapitalization : The game's text has been updated to remove all-caps formatting for a cleaner look.
- Physical/Special Split : Moves are now categorized as physical or special based on the move itself rather than its typing.
- New Types and Mechanics : Includes the Fairy type, Mega Evolution, Dynamax, and Z-Crystals/Moves.
- National Dex at the Beginning : Players have access to the full National Pokédex from the very start of the game.
- Optional Level Cap : A toggleable system (found in the player's house and Pokémon Centers) with specific caps at 15, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 85, and 100.
- Running Enhancements : Ability to run indoors and a toggle for auto-running once you obtain the Running Shoes.
- 120 Reusable TMs : All TMs can be used infinitely, and the library has been expanded to 120 different moves.
- Removed HM Requirements : Progression no longer requires teaching HMs to your team, with the minor exceptions of Flash and Waterfall.
- BW Repel System : When a repel wears off, the game will automatically ask if you want to use another one.
- DexNav : A tool obtained before Viridian Forest that helps players track and find specific Pokémon in the wild.
- Generation 6 Exp. Share : An item obtained early that can be toggled ON for the whole team or OFF to function as a held item.
- PC Caller : A key item obtained in Vermilion City that allows you to access your Pokémon storage boxes from anywhere.
- Fly Caller : A key item that allows you to use the Fly utility to travel between towns without needing the move.
- Nature Colored Stats : Pokémon summary screens now highlight stats affected by Natures (red for boosted, blue for hindered).
- IV/EV Summary Screen : View a Pokémon's exact IVs and EVs directly in the summary screen using a BW-style interface.
- Celadon City Service Hub : Access the IV Changer NPC, EV Resetter NPC, Nature Mints, Ability Pills/Patches, and G-Max Candy.
- Lavender Town Services : Location of the Egg Move Tutor and the Move Reminder.
- Form Change Locations : Change Rotom forms at Two Island and Deoxys forms at the Cinnabar Island Research Lab.
- Wonder Trade : A feature that allows players to trade Pokémon for random encounters.
- Move and Type Buffs : Includes balance changes such as 120BP X-Scissor and typing updates like Grass/Fairy Meganium and Water/Dark Feraligatr.
- Last Ball Used : A convenient feature in battle that allows you to quickly throw the same type of Pokéball used previously.
- Item Drops : Wild Pokémon may drop useful items after battle, such as berries, Lucky Eggs, or items that can be sold for money.
- Expanded Post-Game : Battle Kanto Gym Leaders on Seven Island in Singles or Doubles format and encounter Pokémon from Generations 4-8.
