Description
Are you tired of saving the world? Fighting evil teams all on your own? Do you feel like you could use some time off? Maybe a vacation on a faraway island with your grandpa would do? If so…We would like to invite you to the Jameyka Region! Jameyka is a relatively small island region, secluded from other regions by the vast ocean. The nearest region is Hoenn, but getting there takes about a week by sea. What's more, because of strong water currents, travel is only possible during certain parts of the year. However, these circumstances did not prevent this region from becoming a quite popular tourist destination, thanks to its well-preserved nature and the annual Jam Festival.
Features
- Open World with Scaling Difficulty: After an initial story segment, the world opens up, allowing you to challenge the region's "Trial Captains" in any order. The levels of wild Pokémon and trainers will scale based on the number of Captains you have defeated.
- Strategic Double Battles: All battles are double battles played in 'Set' style. Crucially, healing items are not allowed during any battle, requiring careful strategy and team planning.
- Branching 'Slice-of-Life' Story: Experience a slow-paced, slice-of-life narrative where your dialogue choices directly affect the story's outcome.
- Exploration-Based Economy: You do not earn money from winning trainer battles. Instead, the primary way to make money is by exploring, finding valuable items, and selling them. Many trainers will reward you with useful items after a battle.
- Massive & Balanced Pokémon Roster: The game includes Pokémon from all generations, numerous regional variants, and a handful of new Fakemon. While standard Pokémon stats and types are unchanged, their learnsets and evolution methods have been adjusted for balance.
- Unique Starter with 4 Evolutions: Your starter Pokémon has a special branching evolution line with four different final forms to choose from.
- Quest System & Optional Content: Includes a full quest log with 21 sidequests. HM Items are used to unlock optional areas, and many stronger trainers on routes will ask to battle rather than engaging on sight.
- Customizable Difficulty: The game is designed to be challenging but fair. In addition to the scaling world, you can also toggle hard level caps on or off to suit your playstyle.
- New Custom Content: The game is packed with new custom abilities, moves, and items to discover and use.
- Advanced UI & Menus: Features an advanced Pokédex, a summary screen that displays IVs and EVs, an encounter list, and an interactable party in the bag screen.
