It is a massive, open-world style fan game set in the beautiful and expansive Kyujitsu Island, a region inspired by pre-modern Japan and China. Instead of a traditional Gym Challenge, your goal is to prove your strength to the 8 Clan Leaders and the Elder Four to become the new Lord and bring peace to the land. This game is packed with modern features, including all three major battle gimmicks: Mega Evolution, Terastallization, and Dynamax. Explore a huge world with over 850 Pokémon from all nine generations, new Kyujitsuan regional forms, and a deep crafting system. With a full story, a massive post-game including a tournament of 80+ trainers and Dynamax Adventures, and a host of QoL features, this is the ultimate open-world Pokémon adventure.

- All Three Battle Gimmicks: Megas, Tera & Dynamax: The game includes all three major battle gimmicks. You can use Mega Evolution (including 28 new Megas from Legends: Z-A), Terastallization, and Dynamax in Max Raid Dens and Dynamax Adventures.
- Massive Open World & 850+ Pokémon: Explore the huge, open-world style region of Kyujitsu Island, which features over 900 new maps and is home to over 850 Pokémon from the first nine generations.
- Visible Overworld Encounters: Wild Pokémon are visible in the overworld. Their spawns change dynamically based on the in-game time of day and weather conditions.
- New Progression System: Clan Leaders & The Elder Four: Instead of a traditional Gym Challenge, your goal is to prove your strength to the 8 Clan Leaders and the Elder Four to become the new Lord and bring peace to the land.
- New Kyujitsuan Regional Forms: The game features 16 brand new, custom-made Kyujitsuan Forms of existing Pokémon.
- Extensive Post-Game Content: The adventure continues after the main story with a huge post-game, including new questlines, Dynamax Adventures, and a massive "Akigawa Tournament" with over 80 unique trainers to battle, including rematches with Clan Leaders.
- Crafting System & Mega Stones: Gather resources from the world to craft your own supplies, including a wide variety of new and existing Poké Balls. You can also craft Mega Stones using a Mega Crafting Bag, Mega Shards, and Gems.
- Four Customizable Difficulty Settings: You can switch between four different difficulty modes (Regular, Hard, Novice, and Classic) at any time by visiting a specific in-game location.
- Automatic Level Scaling: The levels of wild Pokémon and trainers automatically scale with your progress, giving you the freedom to explore the open world and challenge Clan Leaders in any order you choose.
- Modern Quest System: A full, modern quest log is included to keep track of all your Main Quests and numerous Side Quests.
- No HM Slaves Needed: The game features a system that allows you to use field moves without needing to teach them to a Pokémon.
- On-the-Go Berry Planting: You can use Berry Pots to easily plant and grow berries anywhere on your journey.
- Built-in Speed Up: The game includes a built-in function to choose between three different game speeds to match your own pace.
- Unreal Time System: The in-game clock moves faster than real time, allowing for more dynamic wildlife, faster plant growth, and more frequent day/night cycles.
- Enhanced Storytelling: The game features a deep, original story with cinematic cutscenes and mid-battle dialogue to make key battles more immersive.
- New Reworked Pokémon Content: The game features new custom moves and abilities, and many existing Pokémon have had their movepools and abilities rebalanced.
