A full custom region hack of Pokémon Crystal featuring a brand-new story, characters, and a unique roster of beta Pokémon designs from the development of Gold and Silver.
Features
- New Region : Explore a completely original semi-open region that offers players freedom of exploration without being strictly linear.
- Betamon : Discover and catch previously unused Pokémon designs from the Gold and Silver development period, complete with fanmade names, stats, and typing.
- Difficulty Settings : Choose from three distinct difficulty modes at the start, including a Relaxed mode with no level caps and an Expert mode for a hardcore experience.
- Gym Gauntlets : Enter gyms that cannot be exited until you earn a badge or white out, featuring leaders with scaling teams that change based on your progress.
- Fairy Type : The Fairy type has been fully integrated into the game and is categorized as a special attacking type.
- Type Property Swap : Dark-type moves have been changed to physical, while Ghost-type moves have been changed to special to improve gameplay balance.
- Infinite TMs : Technical Machines are now reusable and many former HM moves have been converted to TMs so they can be easily forgotten.
- Modern Battle Changes : Experience updated movepools and stats, a revamped X-Item system that activates upon entering battle, and modified move effects like Teleport and Hyper Beam.
- Post-Game Content : Engage in an extensive post-game adventure to track down Legendary and Mythical Pokémon and challenge two separate battle facilities.
- Evolution Overhaul : Trade evolutions have been removed and replaced with level-up requirements, happiness triggers, or holding specific items while leveling.
- Quality of Life Improvements : Enjoy modern features like a prompt to reuse Repels, an auto-nickname toggle, and a Pocket Watch to change the time of day anywhere.
- Enhanced UI : Updated PC and battle interfaces show move power and relevant Pokémon stats directly on the screen during combat.
- Exploration Rewards : Find many secret areas containing unique items, move tutors, and special encounters hidden throughout the world.
- Mystery Gift NPC : Visit a special NPC once per day to receive three random items to help you on your journey.
