Features
- Rebalanced Starter Stats: The base stats for Meganium, Feraligatr, and Typhlosion have been adjusted to be more viable and fit different roles.
- Enhanced Trainer Battles & AI: All trainer teams have been custom-made and feature improved AI for a more challenging experience.
- EVs Removed: The EV (Effort Value) gain system has been turned off completely.
- Start with 999 Rare Candies: The game provides you with 999 Rare Candies from the beginning to eliminate grinding, with more available to find in the world.
- Custom Evolution Methods
- Updated Pokémon Abilities: Many Pokémon have had their abilities changed to be more useful or thematic, such as Drought Ninetales, Drizzle Politoed, Unaware Wooper, and Technician Beedrill.
- Re-typed Gym Leader & Champion: To change up the challenge, Clair is now a Water-type Gym Leader and Lance is a Flying-type Champion.
- Expanded Johto & Kanto Pokédex: All Pokémon from the first two generations are available (with the exception of the other starters and the Kanto starters).
- Linear Gym Progression: After the fourth gym, the game becomes more linear, requiring you to challenge the remaining gyms in a set order.
- Improved Item Availability: Powerful competitive items like Leftovers, Choice items, and Orbs are now available to find throughout the main game.
- Balanced Difficulty: The game is designed to be harder but fair, with no trainers (before the post-game) using legendary Pokémon.
- Updated Post-Game Battles: While the post-game story is unchanged, the Gym Leader rematches and the battle against Red feature new, challenging teams.
- Quality of Life (QoL) Improvement: The initial phone call from your Mom about saving money has been removed.
