A heavy enhancement-reimagined version of Pokémon Sapphire that keeps classic Generation 3 mechanics while completely changing the storyline, maps, encounters, trainers, and learnsets to deliver a fresh yet nostalgic experience.
Features
- Generation 3 Mechanics : Uses original mechanics with no physical/special split, no Fairy type, 1/16 2x critical hits, and expert-level trainer AI.
- New Starters and Regional Forms : Features Hisui Sneasel, Hisui Qwilfish, and Galar Slowpoke as starter options, includes 13 regional forms, adds 4 new Pokémon (Sneasler, Overqwil, Meltan, and Melmetal), and removes 4 others (Ditto, Farfetch'd, Smeargle, and Chimecho).
- Changed Maps : Overhauls every single map in the game to create a brand-new exploration experience while keeping the original gym order and progression route intact.
- Custom Tilesets : Updates the aesthetic of the region using custom-edited tiles built on top of the original Ruby and Sapphire art style.
- New Trainer Sprites : Updates overworld sprites for gym leaders, playable characters, evil teams, and most standard trainers.
- Custom Blue UI : Replaces the traditional red battle user interface with a custom UI featuring variations of the color blue.
- Expanded Team Aqua Storyline : Gives Team Aqua a much larger role in the narrative, focusing on their plans to awaken both Kyogre and Lugia, resulting in more frequent battles against them.
- Changed NPC Dialogues : Rewrites dialogues for numerous NPCs across Hoenn's towns to align with the revised story.
- Revamped Trainer Battles : Hand-crafts every trainer battle with tailored teams, moves, and items to deliver a challenge comparable to Renegade Platinum.
- Harder Boss Fights : Redesigns all boss battles with expanded teams, held items, and better movesets, while completely removing the AI's ability to use healing potions.
- Ability and Stat Balance Changes : Retains original Pokémon types and only adjusts base stats for the starter lines, but introduces custom abilities (like Speed Boost Sharpedo and Thick Fat Furret) to make more Pokémon viable.
- Modified Evolutions : Changes level requirements for several evolutions (such as Slugma at level 20), sets friendship evolutions to level 10, and adjusts trade evolutions to occur between levels 40 and 42.
- Move Modifications : Adjusts the accuracy of 90% of moves to 100%, updates PP values, changes typing for Cut and Strength, and replaces OHKO moves with standard attacks (such as replacing Guillotine with Bullet Punch).
- Item and Mart Modifications : Revises PokéMart inventories to include Rare Candies for 1 Poké Dollar, max repels, and healing items at low prices, while removing wild held items and the moves Thief and Covet.
- Trade and Egg Modifications : Overhauls all three in-game trades to offer regional forms or rare Pokémon, and changes the Lavaridge gift egg to hatch into Eevee.
- Full Documentation : Offers detailed sheets covering trainer teams, item locations, wild encounters, learnsets, and post-game content, alongside a custom calculator and LUA script.
- Completable Postgame : Adds gym leader rematches on the S.S. Tidal, Elite Four rematches, catchable legendary/mythical Pokémon, secret boss fights, a fully completable Pokédex, and a final Trick House level.
- Increased Shiny Odds : Increases the shiny encounter rate from the vanilla 1/8192 down to 1/2048.
- Quality of Life Improvements : Places free Rare Candies inside the player's in-game GameCube to eliminate grinding, adds Sponsor Corners (tutors, deleters, and marts) inside Pokémon Centers, heavily discounts Game Corner TMs, and customizes learnsets to compensate for the lack of a physical/special split.
