Inspired by extreme difficulty games like Emerald Kaizo and Radical Red, the hack delivers a tough campaign with nearly 500 hand-crafted battles, custom synergistic opponent teams, and unique overworld field effects in specific areas. It is widely considered by the competitive community to be one of the hardest Pokémon games of all time, particularly for Hardcore Nuzlocke challenges.

- Roster expanded to include standard Pokémon up to Generation 8, along with unique roaming legendaries
- Fully integrated battle engine incorporating the physical/special move split and in-battle Mega Evolution
- Custom, permanent overworld field effects (such as tailwind or magma storm) in specific locations to increase difficulty
- Overworld map restructured to alter progression routes and make several optional areas mandatory
