Welcome to the Tarotia region, a province of the Kardia Empire. You're a young Trainer who recently graduated from the Jokerstown Pokémon School, and you and your friends are about to receive your first Pokémon with your Trainer License! The region has an ancient tradition: it's not just you who chooses your Pokémon, but the Pokémon must choose you too! The universe will intertwine your and your Pokémon's fate in your dreams! Any Pokémon can appear!

Classic Mega Evolutions (with a G-Max Twist)The game includes the classic Mega Evolution battle mechanic. Some Pokémon that had Gigantamax forms in the official games now have them as brand new Mega Evolutions.
Pokémon up to Generation 8The game's Pokédex is expanded to include a selection of Pokémon from the first eight generations (up to Galar).
Nuzlocke Mode & RandomizerThe game includes a built-in Nuzlocke Mode for hardcore challenges and a Randomizer to shake up your playthrough.
Customizable Exp. ShareYou can choose between using the classic, single-Pokémon hold item Exp. Share or the modern, party-wide version.
No More HM SlavesHM moves have been replaced with HM Items, so you no longer need to dedicate a moveslot on your Pokémon to progress.
In-Game Banking SystemThe "Bank of Tarotia" allows you to deposit and manage your money.
Berry Store & Pokémon FarmBerries are no longer found in the wild but can be purchased from a dedicated Berry Store or grown at the new Pokémon Farm.
Accessible Evolutions & CustomizationTrade evolutions now use a "Trade Stone," and all other evolution items are for sale. You can also change your Pokémon's Nature at a shop and find Ability Capsules in secret locations.
Triple Triad Game CornerThe Passione Game Corner has been transformed into a hub for playing the Triple Triad card game.
Wonder TradingMeet the "Trade Expert" who appears in various locations to make surprise Wonder Trades.
Roaming Legendary EncountersLegendary Pokémon are even harder to track down as they now roam the region.
