This hack is a "3rd generation hack", meaning that it doesn't try to mimic later generations and, although certain features and improvements from later generations are included, this hack is a 3rd generation game at its core. Don't expect all the new moves from later generations, or being able to catch 900 different Pokémon. This hack does not include the "Battle Engine Upgrade" or anything similar, but it does include certain mechanics from it (like the OPTIONAL Physical / Special split that happened in Gen. Built using the pokeemerald decompilation expansion, the hack is designed specifically to appeal to lifelong hardcore fans. While keeping the majority of Emerald's original storyline intact, the project completely revamps the Hoenn region with newly designed overworld trainers, custom Gym Leaders, and an entirely new Elite Four.
Pokemon Astral Red
The game retains the classic storyline and map layout of Kanto but completely overhauls the experience by replacing the entire regional Pokédex with a unique roster. The catchable list is populated with custom Fakemon primarily imported from the incomplete Japanese ROM hacks Pokémon Procyon and Pokémon Deneb, alongside select additions from Altair, Sirius, and Vega to complete the index.
Pokémon Mega Hoenn Adventures
The game is a remastered expansion of the original Pokémon Hoenn Adventures. The storyline follows your journey through a visually overhauled and modernized Hoenn region, complete with custom events, anime references, and several guest YouTuber cameos.
Pokémon Scorched Silver
Set in the Johto region 20 years after the events of the original Generation II games, the storyline follows a brand-new protagonist from Cherrygrove City. Players embark on a journey to challenge the Johto League, only to find that the region has evolved and changed over the decades, presenting custom narrative callbacks, redesigned landmarks, and a fresh cast of characters.
Pokémon Omega Paradox
The story begins one month after a devastating overworld attack by the mysterious Masked Man, which has left many dead or injured. With Unova citizens fleeing, the player—a survivor of the initial assault—is selected by Cynthia and Drake to pick a starter and protect the region from a newly formed alliance between reformed Team Plasma, Team Rocket grunts, and Team Aqua under the Masked Man's command.
Pokemon Dark Worship
Set in the completely original Dusk Region, the storyline centers on a mysterious crisis: a secretive cult of Zygarde worshippers has infiltrated the territory to capture and exploit the legendary Pokémon. Players embark on a journey starting with a pool of 24 starters, attempting to conquer the regional Gym League while actively thwarting the plans of these malicious cultists.
Pokémon Let's Go Lugia
Drawing inspiration from the storyline of Pokémon SoulSilver, the hack transports players to a remastered 2D GBA rendition of the Johto region. The game limits the catchable roster primarily to Johto species and their evolutionary lines, with select Kanto additions included to match the lineups of the Elite Four and Gym Leaders.
Pokémon Special Chapter
A Pokémon fan game that serves as a continuation of the Pokémon Adventure - Red Chapter project. Unlike its predecessor, this is not a ROM hack. It features multiple playable characters—including Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Pink—each with their own dedicated, chapter-based storylines, custom maps, and distinct quests across regions like Orre, Kanto, Johto, Cerise Island, and the Orange Archipelago.
Pokémon Reborn
Set in the polluted, post-apocalyptic Reborn Region, the storyline centers on a dark and mature narrative: players must help reclaim and restore a decaying, corrupt metropolis from multiple villainous factions and secretive organizations. Starting as a young protagonist, players embark on an adventure to conquer 18 Gym Leaders—one for each elemental type—and protect the region.

This hack is an adaptation of the Pokémon Adventures/Special Manga, in the eyes of Red.
Pokémon Red Reloaded
The goal of the project is to remake the classic Game Boy Advance campaign of Pokémon FireRed using the 3D-style engine of the fourth-generation Nintendo DS games. Differentiating itself from similar projects in terms of customized overworld graphics and edited maps, the story stays faithful to the original, with future plans to expand side-stories showing what characters like Silver, Ariana, and Archer were up to before Johto's events.
Pokémon Flare
The game completely flips the traditional Kanto adventure by forcing players to travel through the region in the reverse direction. The story centers around a newly active Team Rocket whose main objective has shifted to hunting down and capturing the three legendary birds (Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres), requiring players to thwart their schemes while conquering the Kanto Gyms backwards.
