This hack is a "3rd generation hack", meaning that it doesn't try to mimic later generations and, although certain features and improvements from later generations are included, this hack is a 3rd generation game at its core. This is my first romhack, and I was inspired to make it by a video from Jrose11 in which he beat Emerald with exp gain turned off (and he was inspired by SmallAnt). This game takes place in the next century after a great disaster has drastically altered the Kanto region, separating the 'Sevii Region' from 'Greater Kanto,' and leaving much of the region lost. After this disaster, new 'paradox' forms of old Pokemon appeared and outcompeted their old forms to dominate the region, although these forms remain rare to see throughout Sevii. Lower unevolved forms remain largely unaffected, however they do not evolve anymore in order to avoid becoming prey to the overtaken forms. The power levels of all Pokemon have adjusted though along with this evolutionary race of sorts…

It is a HeartGold trashlocke hack built around using only trashmons, Pokémon with a base stat total under 425 (with a few exceptions). Many Pokémon either don't evolve or evolve much later than usual, forcing creative strategies and unconventional team-building. Despite the restrictions, a a variety of Pokémon are available from Gen 1 to 9 including regional forms, making each run unpredictable and replayable.

Pokémon Dual-type Emerald
Have you ever had the thought "It's strange that this pokeman doesn't have this specific second typing"? Well so have I! I did something I never thought I would do and took the time to work on hacking Emerald and giving every single Pocket Monster a second type. Some of these changes are definitely subjective, as I tried to be creative with some of these typings. Some of them will seem obvious, some will... need some imaginative stretching. But you are more than welcome to question the choices! I went with what I deemed the most fun if the answer wasn't as obvious. But with these changes, of course the rest of the game had to change as well. Boss battles and encounters had to reflect these changes, which lead to a new take on Emerald that allows a lot of different potential teams.

It also acts as a kind of research-informed speculative work that presents an alternate interpretation of the games.Specifically, that being what the 2016 Nintendo Virtual Console re-release of Gen-1 Pokemon could have been. It is the image of a glitch-free experience with player-friendly goodies and enhancements common to other modern remasterings.

Pokémon Valor
Set approximately 30 years after the events of Pokémon Red, the storyline begins in the seaside town of Port Fromage, where the player has just graduated from Pokémon school. However, the celebratory atmosphere is shattered when Team Rocket suddenly steals ten newly discovered Pokémon from Professor Vine. These ten species represent the missing typing Eeveelutions (Poison, Fighting, Flying, Steel, etc.), prompting the player and the professor's apprentice to set off on a journey to retrieve them.
Pokémon Mind Crystal
The game acts as a highly challenging remake of Pokémon Crystal on the 4th Generation NDS engine. It includes Kris as the playable female protagonist, serving as a tribute to the original Crystal version while revamping Johto and Kanto with difficult battles and sophisticated assembly modifications.
Pokémon Naranja
Recreating the events of the classic second season of the Pokémon animated series, the game places players on an adventure through the tropical Orange Archipelago. Players step into the shoes of Ash Ketchum (or Misty) alongside Pikachu, meeting Brock, Tracey, and various iconic characters exactly as they appeared in the anime episodes.
