Game Description
The narrative takes place five years after the events of the original Kanto games, where the governments of Kanto and Johto decided to merge their landmasses into a single unified region. Due to a new law stating that any region can only hold eight official Gyms, eight major cities lost their respective Gyms, leaving prominent former Gym Leaders out of work and looking for alternative challenges elsewhere.

Alpha v1.2.1 - 11/07/2017 - Pokémon FireRed 2 is an ongoing GBA ROM hack of Pokémon FireRed by Wobb. The current Alpha build 1.2.1 is playable up to the second gym, showcasing heavily altered regional maps and a unified Kanto-Johto setting.
