Game Description

This game was initially conceived as a joke between friends, but then we took it too far and actually made it lol. This hack is based on the popular web collectibles game "Dragon Cave", Dragcave.net . This hack is effectively vanilla Emerald, just with entirely new "Pokemon" and a few other qol additions. Anyways, here we have our result; PokeCave Almerald! A Dragon Cave rom hack of Pokemon Emerald.

Completed (10/07/2026) - A fully finished Emerald hack featuring a complete playthrough of the Hoenn region with a fully functional roster of custom dragon species.

Key Features

Backported and added some movesfrom future generations and our own minds. Just because we can add the physical/special split it doesn't mean every type actually had all options in gen 3. Now they do.

All dragons are obtainablein a single playthrough without the need to cheat or hack. This includes things like the starters you didn't pick, as rare spawns somewhere in the world.

Increased shiny ratesto 1/2048, so you don't have to spend an eternity grinding for a mon you can't actually trade or use in any other game.
